Silent Night

These toys of mine have by default been made with cotton ears. I can’t cotton my ears though, so unwanted loud music is making me sick. Anyone giving unsolicited mental and physical health tips will be blocked and his/ her comment will be removed even if the person is a good friend. No toxic positivity remarks please as that will also lead to permanent blocking and removal from my real life as a contact.

The night that baby Jesus was born in a cold and dark manger in Bethlehem according the the Bible was a serenely silent night. The cattle were softly lowing. In 2022, some people ‘celebrate’ Christmas by putting on carols and secular music on the loudspeaker. Please remember that religion can never be used as an excuse to create noise pollution. I prefer carol and hymn singing in churches to music roaring in residential areas. Many didn’t ask for that and must not be forced to listen to it.

The health of millions may be disrupted globally thereof. It can cause high pressure, increase stress, disrupt sleep, reduce productivity, harm hearing etc. Unfortunately, people who oppose loudspeakers, especially when played during religious festivals are termed as immoral and are ordered to leave India. I am against putting music on the loudspeaker for all religions.

Indoor Xmas/ Christmas/ Happy Holiday parties with blaring music for those who love that and have willingly signed up for the same may be done. Please have the courtesy of not bursting crackers when Christmas and the New Year 2023 chime in.

Thanks for understanding.

Silent Night

 Silent night! Holy night!
All is calm, all is bright
round the virgin and her child:
holy infant so tender and mild,
sleep in heavenly peace;
sleep in heavenly peace!

 Silent night! Holy night!
Shepherds quail at the sight,
glory streams from heaven afar:
heavenly hosts sing 'Alleluia,
Christ the Saviour is born,
Christ the Saviour is born!'

Silent night! Holy night!
Son of God, love's pure light:
radiant beams your holy face
with the dawn of saving grace,
Jesus, Lord, at your birth,
Jesus, Lord, at your birth.
