  My niece’s 23rd birthday It is my niece’s birthday today. We live in two different continents.   Midnight Mass Director: Mike Flanagan I live in Vasai, a small town by the sea. The beaches are desolate during the day, with people gathering in the mornings and evenings. It was a sleepy town not too long ago. Urbanization has made large areas of it a busy bustling settlement. Certain areas of our town still carry a sleepy hue. I watched Midnight Mass when a cyclone was whirring past our town. The cloudy canopy over Vasai, torrents of rain and chilly breeze served as the ideal ambience to watch this unique horror series that is set in Crockett Island, a quaint sea-bound town that is so sleepy it seems dead. I would switch off the lights, cover myself with a cosy blanket and binge this series. Sometimes my neighbourhood would plunge into darkness because of power cuts. The moon and stars are shielded by clouds, so I’d view the show in pitch darkness and pin drop silence late at night.
