War in Ukraine How would you decode ardent Putin supporters who don’t live in Russia and countries that support the nation? I’ve noticed comments that he is being super smart and this war is necessary. These people are jingoistic, religious bigots, patriarchal, toxic in masculinity, porn addicts and aggressive as per my observation. They don’t feel sad for the innocent people being killed and clap on hearing that nuclear weapons may be used. They defend their views with statements like, “War is in man’s blood, a fact that you can never disown.” Are they narcissist enablers? Narcissist coaches say that Putin is both narcissistic and psychotic. I don’t think I shouldn’t think of the people of Ukraine at all as per Covey’s circle diagrams. We need to have collective consciousness opposing war. Together we may usher in a change. Where Have All the Flowers Gone Pete Seeger Where have all the flowers gone? Long time passing. Where have all the flowers gone? Long time ago.

Shiva and Dionysus   The Greek god of wine and fertility, Dionysus may be linked with frenzy and intoxication. This god has a dual personality. His passion for wine can elevate him to ecstasy. His wrath can bring forth destruction. Ever since the first millennium BCE, the Mycenaean Greeks began worshipping him.   Dionysus resonates with Shiva as he too has benevolence and malevolence on both sides of the coin of his godly nature. He resides in the Himalayan abode of Kailash with his dear wife Parvati, this etches a picture of sweet domesticity. However, he is the god of destruction and can kill demons. He like the Greek god is associated with inebriation and ingenious delirium. He has the prowess to destroy and create.   #shiva, #dionysus, #mythology, #indianmythology, #greekmythology, #himalaya, #shivaparvati, #shiva, #kailash, #comparingmythology, #shivratri, #shivratri2022, #mahashivratri, #hindumythology, #wine, #fertility, #intoxication, #frenzy, #madness, #shivashak
