First Drizzle

This morning [26 May 2022] when I was asleep, the parched earth in my neighbourhood received its first pre-monsoon drizzle. More clouds are making their welcome arrival in the sky above. They’ll gradually drape themselves in greyer hues. Then the dance drama of the cloud kingdom will start when it will shower its mercy on the ground below. Summer is on its way out as the clouds draw a natural curtain on it and simultaneously on summer, heralding monsoon on the colourful stage of seasons.
