Live and let live

Please avoid large gatherings, playing loud music and bursting crackers at year-end. However, please stop judging and shaming people for the following reasons:

1.                 Not observing this New Year.

2.                Celebrating at year-end.

3.               Making resolutions.

4.               Not making resolutions.

5.               Avoiding their family members as they are toxic.

6.               Meditating at year-end.

7.               Not meditating on 31 December.

8.               Praying when the New Year rolls in.

9.               Not praying.

10.          Feasting on New Year’s Eve.

11.            Eating healthy.

12.           Spending New Year’s Eve alone.

I plan to make my debut on Wattpad in 2022. The first story I’ll post there will be co-authored by me and Mashi. I’ll chronicle the tiger tales from the Sunderban that she narrates to me. Had she completed school, she’d be a great writer.

  Man consumes pesticide As I write this, a young man is fighting for his life. He is an alcoholic and is always in and out of jail. This morning he put pesticide in his spirit and drank it. His body is turning cold and he can hardly breathe. He is in a queue for admission to the hospital for the poor where detailed paperwork is going on as protocols dictate that a police case must be registered before further proceeding. These rules delay saving those who attempt suicide. We aren’t sure if this was accidental or deliberate mixing. The treatment of patients who try to take their lives is shocking in supposedly good private hospitals as well. In one of these places, the person who attempted it was slapped several times by the doctor and as he felt that an evil person like this deserves mistreatment, ward boys were ordered to strip her naked to change her into a gown as there was no nurse at the emergency room.
