Self-hypnosis 3

Self-hypnosis may also be done lying down. All you need to do is choose a comfortable position, which you can maintain for about 20 minutes. Though your mind will not blank out; you may try to avoid distracting thoughts like bills, your love life, politics, work etc. You may end a session by imagining yourself descending a flight of stairs to a crystal clear and placid lake or river, thereby washing away your stresses. Self-hypnosis facilitates deep relaxation. It’s a good idea to set a timer so that you are alerted after your session is over. Practice makes this technique perfect.
